Cultural sharing has almost always been a thing. Even before trade routes and conquest existed its obvious cultures shared and were aware of eachother. A fade has been a popular hairstyle for military for over a century thats hit mainstream. Beards have boomed in the past 15ish years across the board. What in the fuck says thats an individual cultural aspect of any specific group of people. Fuckin the whole world rockin that.
